SAKANACTION 's new song "Irana" (No Need), their first new song in approximately a year, will be released digitally on Wednesday, February 11th.
This song was written specifically as the theme song for the Chūkyō TV/Nippon Television Network national network drama series "Kochira Yobi Jiei Yūseiho?!" which marks Hiroji Kato's directorial debut.
Naomi Hirabayashi, who also created the artwork for "怪獣," is once again in charge of the jacket artwork for this release. The visuals for "怪獣" were created using letterpress printing, an old printing method. This time, the artwork for "Iranai" visualizes the process of creating new characters using modern techniques. Past characters and present characters. The artwork concept embodies the nature of the songs, which are taking completely different directions for SAKANACTION.
