It has been decided that SAKANACTION will be in charge of the theme song for the drama "This is the Reserve Self-Defense Hero?!", which is scheduled to start airing on January 7, 2026.
Additionally, the music for the film will be produced by Project NF, headed by SAKANACTION 's ICHIRO YAMAGUCHI.
NF artist Shotaro Aoyama will be in charge of the music for the film, and ICHIRO YAMAGUCHI will be producing.

When Kato-san asked me to write the theme song for the drama he was directing, I immediately agreed.
I accepted the offer. I hope to be of some help to my fellow students from my hometown who have been so kind to me both in my personal and professional life.
-What were your impressions when you read the drama script while composing the song?
I thought it was an aggressive piece that was full of Kato Koji's unique style.
