Beware of spam posts disguised as live streaming announcements on X (formerly Twitter)

Thank you for your continued support of SAKANACTION.

Recently, a large number of posts have been confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that are intended to attract access to the account by claiming to be streaming SAKANACTION live performance, and are intended to steal personal information from fans.

These sites make it appear as if you can watch the broadcast by jumping to another site via a link posted on X, but when you actually try to watch the broadcast, you are asked to create an account, and when you do, they make you enter your email address, name, address, and credit card number (including the security code).

Some of these malicious sites not only steal personal information, but also trick users into signing service contracts in ways that are extremely difficult to recognize and then charge them a fee.
Of course, whatever the purpose of the malicious site, it will prevent fans from seeing the footage they want to see.

We have to say that this type of behavior is extremely malicious, taking advantage of fans' desire to see footage.

We have not given permission to use any of the videos on the sites to which we have been redirected, and we believe that they are malicious sites that may steal personal information or lead people to enter into unintended contracts.

We ask all fans to be extremely careful not to access such sites and not to provide any personal information without permission.
