SAKANAQUARIUM 2025 "KAIJU"

This video features footage from the additional performance at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, which was the final show of SAKANACTION 's national tour, "SAKANAQUARIUM 2025 '怪獣'".

The song "怪獣" (Monster), which is also the title of the tour, is the band's first new song in approximately three years. Immediately after its release, it dominated the top spots on various music charts and became a huge hit. The nationwide hall tour "SAKANAQUARIUM 2025 '怪獣'" held in support of "怪獣" sold out immediately for all 34 performances at 17 venues. This release is a video recording of the final performance on August 27th (Wednesday), one of the two additional performances held at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa.

YUSUKE TANAKA, a video director who has worked on numerous SAKANACTION M videos and live performances, is in charge of the overall direction of this live show. With his innovative approach, he is further evolving SAKANACTION 's live performances, which are considered a comprehensive art form.

The stage, with the band members lined up in a row, was entirely white, from the costumes to the floor and backdrop. Above the stage hung a giant LED monitor the same proportion as the floor where the members stood, displaying a video themed around a "怪獣" with a single male protagonist, which unfolded simultaneously with the live performance. The audience packed into the venue was continuously overwhelmed by the innovative expression, where the story with a male protagonist, the visual effects including lighting and special effects, and SAKANACTION 's music sometimes fused together and sometimes clashed.

For this video adaptation, YUSUKE TANAKA who served as the overall director of the live performance, personally directed the production and also handled the package design. He took on the total production role to elevate the concept of the live performance into a finished work.

The limited edition Blu-ray /DVD features a polypropylene hardcover with a three-dimensional怪獣logo and includes a 128-page (planned) booklet containing interviews with the band members and staff, as well as a commentary on the direction by director YUSUKE TANAKA. In addition to live footage of "アドベンチャー" and "モノクロトウキョー" performed on August 26th, the first day of the additional shows, the bonus features also include documentary footage of SAKANACTION 's record company staff closely following the band members. This must-see content allows viewers to see how the song "怪獣" was created and unleashed through the real interactions between the band members and staff.

NF member exclusive set includes a limited-edition Blu-ray, a two-disc CD set containing live audio from the main feature, and an original jigsaw puzzle as a commemorative gift.

Furthermore, Blu-ray version features Dolby Atmos in addition to standard stereo audio. Purchasers of the limited edition (Blu-ray and DVD) will receive a serial code for "NeSTREA M" which allows them to watch the live footage with Dolby Atmos audio, making it easy to experience the atmosphere of the live venue anytime.

This must-have for fans includes not only the main live video, which combines SAKANACTION 's performance with cutting-edge visual expression, but also content that serves as subtext related to "kaiju" (怪獣).
